Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

PartX ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, which enables dealers, distributors, and manufacturers to manage inventory, view pricing, create picklists, and integrate with multiple vendors through a subscription-based service.

01What Do We Do With Your Information?

When you create an account or subscribe to PartX, as part of connecting with vendors and managing inventory, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, email address, and company details.

When you browse our platform, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our platform, new integrations, vendor updates, and other relevant information.

03Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PartX, our users, or others.

When you use our vendor integration features, certain business-related data (such as inventory queries and picklist details) may be shared with the respective vendor systems you have chosen to connect with. We only share the minimum data necessary to fulfill the integration.

04Subscription & Payment

PartX operates on a subscription model. When you subscribe, your payment information is sent directly to our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

All payment processors we work with adhere to the standards set by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. These standards help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Our platform does not process consumer orders or handle shipping logistics. Picklists created on the platform are internal to your business workflow and do not constitute purchase orders processed through PartX.

05Third-Party Services

Third-party service providers we work with — such as payment gateways, analytics providers, and cloud infrastructure services — will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us.

Certain providers may be located in jurisdictions different from your own. If you proceed with a transaction or integration involving a third-party provider, your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which that provider operates.

When you follow links away from our platform, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

06Security

We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your personal information from being inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

All data transmitted between your browser and our platform is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Sensitive data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. While no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

07Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you cancel your subscription or request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.

08Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on our platform.

If PartX is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide the service to you.
